Another check UT Oct 26 for the circa 0100 AIR anomalies: This time I have the recorder handy in case the unknown 36-37 note IS appear again on 11985, but there is not even any signal on 11985! Could be due to disturbed propagation, except 11740 Goa is still there, altho with SAH from CCI, poor with flutter.
9910, Oct 26 at 0055, tone test 1 kHz, typical of what AIR sometimes runs on 11985 at this time, prior to starting the wrong service Sindhi at 0100 --- AND there is NO signal on 11985, so suspect tonight it`s doubly wrong. Uplooked later, 9910 is supposed to be in a sesquihour break between two Aligarh site transmissions, Tamil ending at 0045, and Pashto starting at 0215; while 11985 is listed as Khampur site for Sinhala at 0045-0115. At 0058 tone stops on 9910 and standard AIR IS starts; but other stuff to check including Chaski and pirates around hourtop. When I return to 9910 at 0106, it`s off, so somebody fixed that mistake, but still nothing audible on 11985; 11740 is still on; and 9870 VBS from Bengaluru is in as usual mixing Turkey with one more day to go of that collision (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6925-USB, Oct 26 at 0101 must have just come on as splashing upon weaker AM station on 6930 (Boom Box Radio); announcement by robo-fem, couldn`t copy for sure and right now the DX-398 battery of 4 x AA cells expire as I have been trying to squeeze every last drop of juice out of them; I have the new set standing by, and back in business by 0105 during a song about hillbillies, 0108 another YL announcement and just stops. Listening a couple minutes longer, some weak and hesitant CW, perhaps from something else. Seemed to start a call sign with V----. This thread IDs the music station as WAHR == Automated Halloween Radio:
