** ALBANIA. 9855, July 22 at 0130, R. Tirana is OFF tonight. I will not
speculate further on whether it`s permanent or whether this imply any repairs
are being undertaken (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** ARMENIA.
11850, July 21 at 1914, I check for the Radio Mi Amigo special barbecue and
broadcast live from Kall-Krekel, Germany, as widely publicized to be relayed to
``the world`` via Gavar at 17-20 UT today --- as expected, way over here in deep
North America, nothing but a JJBA carrier, but that`s something. At 1947 I`ve
switched from the R75 to the NRD545, and now detect some talk at S 0 to S 0.5 vs
noise level of a hefty S1 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
**
EGYPT. 9325-9335, July 22 at 0106, S8 humbuzz with variations indicating attempt
at talk modulation, i.e. a parasitic spur out of the real R. Cairo frequency,
9315.0, making the same awful sound at S9 but no talky. Centering at 9330 puts
this much higher than the usual spurspot landing around 9322, and would have
blasted Blalock on WBCQ before its sign-off circa 0100. Cairo 9315 span is
0045-0330 including ``English`` after 0200, so no danger to WORLD OF RADIO at
2330-2400, and anyway, who knows where the spur will land next? Sometimes there
is none either (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** PERU. 5980,
July 22 at 0101, JBA carrier from R. Chaski, until cutoff at 0101:33.5*, about
when expected, compared to three nights ago at 0101:13.5*, or 6.6666+ seconds
later per night on average (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** SRI
LANKA. 11905, July 22 at 0114:47.5, SLBC music prélude starts on S1 signal, 2
pips of mis-timesignal ending at 0115:17.5 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING
DIGEST)
** TURKEY. 9770, July 22 at 0111, Voz de Turquía Spanish
frequency is S7 and just barely modulated; while // 9870 is weaker at S5-S6 but
sufficiently modulated (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1330.6 & 1349.4 approx., July 22 at
0129 UT, matching mushy spurblobs making hets against 1330 and 1350 stations,
implying they spew out of one of hundreds of 1340 stations, impossible to make
any match, and I`m not on a loopable antenna. (Not to be confused with the local
spurs circa 1360 and 1420 which still attach to 1390 KCRC) (Glenn Hauser, Enid
