** ALBANIA. 9854.95, UT Sunday July 24 from *0125:14.5, R. Tirana comes on with
IS, and FINALLY some good news to report: much less humroar than there has been,
still some continuous motorboating and lite hum and with BFO the carrier is
wobbling slightly. But program modulation is atop it.
0130 sign-on with
schedule of the only two English broadcasts --- did she say Tuesday-Saturday
instead of -Sunday (UT) at 0130 on 9855? All the announcing is by Klara, and to
understand her 100% we need near-perfect reception, which this is still not.
0131 news starting with something about the judicial system; thanks for support
from USA; 0138 next segment is something ``of the week`` about 3.4% economic
growth in 2016. 0143 time for music, introduced, 0144 the music. 0152 another
announcement and another song. No sign-off heard, but off at 0157:45* (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** BRAZIL. 11680 & 11880 approx.,
July 24 at 0146, the plus & minus 100 kHz scratchy spurs from RNA 11780 are
back, at S4 and S6 levels respectively. These are so bad that they are hard to
match by listening to fundamental; the spurs keep ``bubbling`` even during brief
modulation pauses on 11780 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

NETHERLANDS [non]. 9924.99, UT Sunday July 24 at 0112, The Mighty KBC via
GERMANY is VG at S9+30 during `Giant Jukebox`, 0118 pause for almost 2 minutes
of ``DX Headlines`` which are nothing but ham DX-pedition plans as far ahead as
November. Another check at 0149: Kraig Krist is introducing his `Lost Song`
segment, about the FBI(?) Band, from Dec 1987 to Sept 1993, with Rick Ashley`s
#7 song, ``Cry for Help`` from 1991y. 0155 to ad for KBC Imports of radios with
phone numbers in Holland; longtime listener Sean Welsh plugs for PayPal
contributions to keep TMKBC going; call-outs to a number of listeners heard
from, and some who contributed, more music until off at 0200* sharp (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** UGANDA [non]. 15240-, Sat July 23 at
1620, African music on G-VG signal from WWRB, presumed prélude to R. Munansi,
but marred by ICDs – intermittent carrier dropouts. At first I thought I might
have a bad external antenna connexion to the PL-880. Usual time for the
clandestine broadcast itself is 17-19 UT.
Bill Bingham in South Africa
says, ``After several weekends checking, as of 1720 UT Saturday July 23, I still
have not been able to hear Radio Munansi in Johannesburg, or find its carrier
(Bill Bingham, Johannesburg RSA. Drake R8E, Sony ICF2001D. dxldyg via DX
LISTENING DIGEST)``
And Wolfgang Büschel, Germany, replies also July 23:
``15240v Radio Munansi. Nothing heard on that channel at 1830 UT (17-19 UT
Sat/Sun slot) today. 73 wb`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 12105, July 23 at 0619, weak S3 carrier with talk.
Suspect it`s WTWW-3, Ted forgot to turn off at 0200, as it was still going at
0210, and nothing else is scheduled here until 1200 KSDA. HFCC has WTWW
registered from 1400 to 0600 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U
S A. 3251.34-AM, July 24 at 0104, S5 signal vs S9 noise (storms in AR, SE OK),
must be WBCQ, and yes, it`s // 5129.90-AM, presumably `The Lumpy Gravy Radio
Show` as scheduled this hour on the upper one (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING

** U S A. 7505vv, July 24 at 0115 check, WRNO is still off for at
