Since 11H 57 [CET], Bretagne 5 is back on the medium wave. Since last night the
frequency 1593 KHz was silent because of the bad weather that has hit the region
which have caused some damage on the transmitter facilities of Bretagne 5, in
particular on the emergency power systems. This breakdown, combined with a
failure on the electricity distribution network, has resulted in the failure of
our transmitter. Now everything is back in order and the programmes of Bretagne
5 resume their course. Thanks to the technicians of the radio and the personal
intervention of d'ERdf who have worked in conditions that are sometimes very
difficult. And thank you to all you listeners of Bretagne 5 who have supported
and encouraged us!
