Announces on air as transmitting from “outback Victoria”, though Neilborough is just north of Bendigo – not exactly remote. The licensee also holds an amateur licence, VK3ASE. Announces a mobile number on air for “talkback”. Audio and transmission quality is good, reflecting appropriate technical expertise.
4835 Shortwave Australia. New station, long discussion about music formats from tune in 0515 with rather good signal, nice audio. Quick ID over the program feed at 0525 for 'Shortwave Australia on 4835 kHz'. Thanks to tips from Kiwi DXers on Dxdialog@groups.io. Some discussion online this may be operated from near Bendigo, Victoria according to ACMA database. 6/7 (Francis). ᴥAlso hearing them tonight on 2310, first heard around 0830 but much better 1000, // 4835 which is starting to suffer from some QRM from WWCR 4840 (Francis).
