We recently offered $240 worth of donated books to people kind enough to donate towards the operational expenses between September 2012 and the first week of February 2013.
I'd like to again personally thank each and every one of you who made donations during that period, and, of course, those of you who have ever made a donation. We simply could not continue this project without your kind and generous support.
As you know, anyone can visit the project free at www.radioheritage.com and this has been both our philosophy since day 1 almost 10 years ago now, and our obligation as a charity to do so.
Every visit has an operational expense cost of about 50c to service, and collectively, you've made it possible for thousands to enjoy the features and services.
Thank you.
I'm pleased to tell you that the book prizes are on their way shortly to:
Australia: Jim Mortimer, Adelaide, SA
New Zealand: Kelvin Brayshaw, Levin
Hong Kong: Nicholas Kitto, Central
USA: Jerry Lewine, Agoura Hills, CA
Thank you everyone who participated, and with our financial year ending March 31, I'll be in touch again shortly to let you know more about the new features we're working on for our 2013-14 year, progress with the new website plans for launching on our 10th anniversary in January 2014, and progress with our steps to secure several anchor commercial partners for the project.
In the meantime, we wouldn't be able to plan for the future without your gracious support, and remember, if you have any radio memories you'd like to share, whatever they are [for a family friendly website!], any angle, just drop a note in your words to myradiomemories@gmail.com.
Thanks so much and congratulations!
