ST. PETERSBURG, June 15. /TASS/. Radio stations in Russia are able to cope with all the difficulties that may occur against the background of sanctions by unfriendly states, General Director for Radio with Gazprom Media Vadim Tereschuk told TASS on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
"Russian radio broadcasters are certainly concerned of lengthened logistics in equipment supplies, caused by plenty of foreign components in the process equipment. However, positive factors are in place - several businesses in Russia are making signal transmitters comparable with foreign models," the top manager said.
The industry is the most concerned of how to respond to radio broadcasting demands in the future. "Our concerns are more associated with development - the electronic industry will have to become somewhat tense in order to respond to future requirements of radio broadcasting. Nevertheless, the situation is currently stable. Broadcasting will not change at all in the environment of sanctions - the audience will not notice it definitely," he added.
