The more than 90 year-old mechanical transmitter gets back on the air on
the 24th. Preparations begin at 0730z, and the transmission proper of the
Christmas message is due to begin 0800z on 17.2 kHz (CW). Reception reports are
welcome via bureau (amateurs) or direct.

On Christmas morning, December 24th (UTC YearDay 358) ,
we will try to start the over 90 years old mechanical transmitter and send out a
message. The transmitter will be started around 07:30 UTC (08:30 CET) and at
08:00 UTC (09:00 CET) a message will be sent out on the frequency 17,2 kHz
cw. Here you can read more how to listen to the
SAQ transmitter.
Guests are welcome to attend the transmission in Grimeton
from 08:00-09:30 CET . The Alexander association will arrange Coffee, Glögg and
Christmas cookies, free of charge. No entrance fee.

activity on amateur radio frequencies with the call SK6SAQ this
time because the radio room is redecorated and cannot be used.
