9315, still nothing whatsoever after 0200 for the scheduled English to North America. WRTH 2016 says it`s on 9860 in B-15, which is one of the registered alternative frequencies, but never heard there either, yet. Must still keep an ear out for that one.
However, Clara Listensprechen sends me an mp3 file of the live-stream transmission of R. Cairo in English, starting with a timesignal, and timecheck as 01:15 local, 2315 GMT. There is lots of extraneous sound in the background, such as a dog barking right on cue after the timesignal! People yelling back and forth, doors slamming. Sounds like it`s recorded in a home with no soundproofing, not a professional studio; and a continuous humbuzz, but quite tolerable compared to what they put on shortwave. Then news theme and news read by Mayar Adel. After 10 minutes, ``stay tuned for political commentary coming to you live from Studio 7``. Different YL speaker/reader, but same background distraxions. I`ve yet to listen to all of it, but quite an improvement over Cairo shortwave (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

Guymon 10 kW station is back to old trix, failing to protect Philadelphia at night as has been the case for a few nights now. They still have a CP for 50/39/10 kW, which if it ever happen, will give them the option of cheating with 50 kW non-direxional night as well as day. Why not? ** PERU [and non]. 5980, Dec 26 at 0059, only one JBA carrier, R. Chaski; a second one cuts on at 0100:10, i.e. BBC Hindi via UAE is late, about the same weakness. Then I keep listening attentively to the two beating against each other, slightly different frequencies obviously, by off-tuning to 5979.6 USB. Back to only one carrier as one cuts off at 0104:46.5*, so now we have the new base datum of R. Chaski autocutoffs to precess by 6 to 8 seconds later per night for months to come before another reset (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
