Over to OETA on RF 13 for my attention, undivided except for stereo to one ear each. I`ll have to catch the repeat 3 hours later for the first part. Then I axually listen to `AAAWWW` on 7490 webcast, where already at 2359, Allan does not realize his mike is open as he exclaims about some tone we`re hearing, as FKB gospel huxter is wrapping, and as they are setting up for the live show to follow. As soon as that`s underway, UT Sat Aug 28 at 0000 with WTO theme I recheck all the lower 4 SW frequencies and indeed they have united.
Cold wave has hit Maine, from 88 F yesterday, it`s 58 today. Complaining about all broadcasting on the way out, everything to The Cloud; complaining about ``gendering``, people objecting to being classified as male or female. Angela reminds us that she is convinced Trump is really still president. WBCQ has enemies who don`t like WLCR or TOMBS, but they ``will be crushed``.
0026 says new tube is in -- or rather, on the way; hope to get the SuperStition back on at full 500 kW ``within days``. 0028 call from Annoying Freddie in Massachusetts, about drinking on the air. It seems Angela has a small? bottle of wine, and they attempt a toast over the phone. Quadricasting tonight. The SS transmitter is a Continental 420D, right? What about the warranty on the tube? he asks. But C`l do not make that component. Allan says they are ``working on it``, the warranty issue. How much does it cost, $100K? He seems to think they are behind the FCC/WHRI SNAFU. 0048 Tim in Connecticut thankfully briefly, and as someone pointed out always happens, the stream craps out at 0053. I get it started again. 0055 to read email, nothing significant. 0059 prayer, that the Lord must have a great sense of humor, and ``please cleanse this world of virus``, etc. [? why didn`t He stop it in the first place??], 0101 joins Hal Turner a minute late as usual. Also complaining about the temperature as it's now 58 degrees at the station. Then talk of people wanting to do away with TV and radio and put everything on the cloud. Then talk about the war concerning gender talk. Was also announced that the new tube for the superstation is on its way to Maine. Phone call at 0027 from Freddie who is off the phone in a short time. Phone call at 0035 with a reception report from an old listener. Phone call at 0037 from a listener asking about the other frequencies they're using tonight. Allan then reads something that was sent to the station last week by a listener and written by Thomas Paine. Phone call at 0048 from Tim who manages to turn a pleasant non political show political as usual. Finally off the phone Tim calls back immediately to make a point and then off the phone again.
