** NORTH AMERICA. 7470, June 14 at 0329, Station YHWH pirate is S9+10 but barely modulated (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** OKLAHOMA. RF 23, June 14 at 1433 UT, KSBI ``52`` OKC is off the air! Also missing from local cable 16. By 1540 back on at reduced power, signal still too Bad to decode here; and resumed via cable. Must not be directly due to repacking as will stay put on 23; but who knows, maybe jockeying other antennas on the tower. KSBI has become a mere subsidiary of KWTV, a place to put CBS programming when bumped off by severe weather (Glenn Hauser, Enid, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** OKLAHOMA. RF 17, June 14 at 1435 UT, K17JN-D, Enid`s only TV station, is back on after at least 5 days of invisibility, why? Same lineup of five 3ABN subchannels, with 17-6 remaining a green-screen `test`, which some tuners refuse to recognize. Altho main 3ABN is somewhere on Suddenlink`s upper tiers, presumably directly off satellite, K17JN-D itself somehow avoids being must-carry locally on a low tier (Glenn Hauser, Enid, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** SOUTH CAROLINA [non]. 9395, June 14 at 1306, WRMI with dead air instead of TOMBS, except for usual lite RTTY QRM. Still dead at 1314, 1342, 1425! Previously also dead air on TOMBS via WBCQ 9330v, but not today --- still BSing there on 9330.051v at 1343, so the Walterboro satellite? feed is managing to reach Monticello but not Okeechobee, where it seems no one has noticed for at least a sesquihour, tsk2. See also USA: WRMI 9455 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** TAIWAN [non?]. 11985, June 14 at 1255, soft song with guitar in unID language, one of the better extracontinental signals on band, no announcements until abrupt cutoff at 1259.5*. What`s this? Nothing in HFCC. But Aoki/NDXC, not afraid to utter ``Taiwan``, has it:
``11985 1200-1258 TWN * R.TAIWAN INT. Chi Tamsui Dist 1-7``
The * means of course it is also jammed, but I am hearing only one signal; this one seems more like RTI than CNR1. I should have compared it to definite CNR1 jamming on 11825, 11785, etc. (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A [and non]. ** U S A. 9455, UT Thursday June 14 at 0225, WRMI is on the air again at full power, with weekly `Hal Turner` talkshow, and // 7490v WBCQ, seems synchronized by A/B switching on one receiver. WRMI program skedgrid has now been corrected for System L to show EDT times of 8 pm-midnight, while only the transmission skedgrid atop labels this transmission as Thursdays (UT!) only. But program skedgrid still claims the ``daily`` [as converted] 00-01 & 03-04 hours before and after Turner 01-03 UT Thu, and every other day at 01-03, are Oldies with Biermann, but: recheck at 0318 it`s TOMBS instead, still S9/S9+10. And 7490 WBCQ has also stayed on the air playing rock music (while 5130v and 9330v are TOMBS) (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. `On Point` June 14 is about `The Simpsons`; proof that Murdoch is not 100% evil:
