** CUBA. 11880, April 2 at 2216, RHC is on in French, S8-S9 but undermodulated. Instead of dumping off the air before Brazuguese at 2230, it manages to stay on, not // 15230 which was already in PP at 2219 check, S9; sounds like same speaker, subject, maybe non-synchronized playouts. Something`s always wrong at RHC: hereafter: SAWA.
Today 11880 remains even past 2300 switching to English which has been missing most of the days so far in A-21. At least we now know it is still supposed to be on 11880. And should stop at 2400* but keeps going in Kriyol or French, staying on until about 0015*. SAWA.
But English no longer // on 5040: at 2300 it starts frequency list in Spanish, 13740, 11760 --- and then it dumps off the air. Just as well, because 13740 is wrong anyway, nothing there; no Cuban on 13 MHz except Chinese music in non-Portuguese on 13650. SAWA.
What else from RHC? 15370 at 2219 in Spanish, S9+35 but lofi with hum; 15230 S9 in Brazuguese; nothing on 15730. 15370 is off by 2303, while 15230 has switched to Spanish now // distorted 11760 and 11670. SAWA.
11850, April 2 at 2222, RHC Spanish is JBM, S7-S9 along with parasite JBA carrier on 11840, the twin on 11860 buried in Cuban jamming against no Martí. At 2303, 11850 is suptorted, mod spikes only. SAWA.
15730, April 2 at 2239, now this one is on, S9+20, but as usual distorted modulation only at peaks; wiggle that patchcord! I think it`s in Kriyol. At 2300 still same breakup, now in real French? SAWA.
6165 English does not come on April 3 at 0000 as nominally has been; I keep checking along with AAAWWW on 6159.930v WBCQ, which remains clear of ACI. Not until 0034 do I check 6145, and by golly, now RHC English is there instead of 6165! Maybe they took my advice, which of course I would never send to them directly. SAWA.
11850, April 3 at 0133 I return to receiver I had left tuned here, and guess what? Now this is in English from RHC! S9+10 with good modulation unlike earlier; but is it a mistake, and for how long? Now we have 3 x EE, // 6000 & 6145. SAWA.
6060, April 3 at 0252, RHC Spanish is S9+20/30 but still with the big buzz. SAWA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** GUAM. 12040, Fri April 2 at 2225, S Asian music, VP S3-S6, then seeming English; no, KSDA sked in English Sun/Tue/Thu 2200-2230, including `Wavescan` on Sundays; elsedays in SuNdanese. Would like to confirm these days once and for all, as I have feared they could be confused about local days vs UT days, i.e. English M/W/F mornings over there (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** NORTH AMERICA. 6960-AM, UT Sat April 3 at 0200-0204+, rock music S9/+10, probably Ball Smacker Radio which is scheduled Friday nights from 9 pm ET = 0100. I check out another pirate on 6930, then back to this at 0217 when music is quiet, some deep fades; 0225 YL, ``from some wires strung up in the trees, Ball Smacker Radio``, and tenpins SFX. More rock music I don`t recognize. 0233 plug for their new website; off before 0245 recheck. Many more logs here: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,79836.0.html Keyword for song titles tonight was: ``fool``. After 0315 there was a repeat reported on 4030-USB (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** NORTH AMERICA. 6930-USB, April 3 at 0204, pirate music S9, louder than BSR on AM 6960; 0206 unreadable announcement with organ background. 0215 ``Desert Rat here, comments appreciated to twodogradio@??.com and off 0216*. Many more reports from 0045: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,79835.0.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** SPAIN. 17855, Friday April 2 at 2214, final token English semihour of the week from REE is songs hosted by Justin Coe, but not on this frequency to North America, still AWOL. Other three are audible: 15520 good S5-S8; 11940 S9+5/15; even 11685 is fair S5-S7 and no RTTY, better than the nothing we get (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** TURKEY. 9830, April 2 at 2213, checking direct VOT English to us: no RTTY and S6-S9 but undermodulated, hardly readable. For comparison, 15520 Spain is axually weaker on meter, S5-S8 but good, well-modulated. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 6159.924 V to 6159.930, UT Sat April 3 from 0000, WBCQ `AAAWWW` via KB0FX SDR in MO, offset frequency readout in SAM mode. Surprisingly clear of RHC ACI since it has jumped from 6165 to 6145 --- see CUBA. I half listen; first quiz question, what is a BFO? Soon answered by an e-mailer or caller. It`s cold in Fla, 50 degrees, yet the wife Allan adores is scantily-clad as he puts his hand somewhere on her. Was there nothing political??
Major subject, on and on and on, is standard shifts and clutches, wondering if young people would even know how to drive such cars. 0151 reads part of Radio World article about FCC maybe enforcing PIRATE act from April 26 with big fines --- but he misses the point as already discussed in NASWA and WOR groups, that by definition, this applies to AM & FM bands only, nothing about SW! Yet AW takes the opportunity to encourage would-be pirates to buy time on WBCQ instead. Squeezes in a few pirate names and frequencies from new issue of Free Radio Weekly just published; prayer and ID. 0100-0101 dead air on this transmitter before Hal Turner starts. I never did check 7490v this week, direct or remotedly, nor WBCQ webcasts, but AW said that the 7490 stream server has been maxing out.
I keep hoping he will have some news about his attempt to purchase WHRI, which appears to have closed down. Nothing significant either in his recent twits. Here`s the version of John Carver, who was paying more attention:
``Tonight's show started on time on both 6160 and 7490 with 7490 having the better signal this evening. Opening question was, what is a BFO? Angela is scantily dressed this evening according to Allan. The opening question is answered by someone named Scott and Allan proceeds to describe a BFO for the audience. Then he asks how many young people were able to drive a car with a manual transmission and quickly after that asks how many would know how to double clutch. A short tale of Angela driving his antique cars which morphed into a discussion in general about antique cars.
Phone call at 0028 from a woman that has been enjoying the talk of Angela driving the antiques and she admits that she owns and drives an older car, just one not as old as Allan's. Angela started to give us a brief Angela's Angle but was interrupted by a phone call at 0043 from Mr. Transistor Norm who talks about old cars and motorcycles. Allan then reads a short piece about the larger fines for pirate radio operators and ends with a plea for the pirate operators to buy time on WBCQ.
Into emails at 0054 and a reading of the newest Free Radio Weekly. Closing prayer at 0058 and off the air at 0100 and once again into dead air. Only one political reference this evening when Allan lost his train of thought and stated that he'd had a Biden moment. John, Mid-North Indiana.``
6159.93, recheck 0250 after Hal Turner hour, WBCQ still on with rock music. That would be `Rock Wave` originating on WBCQ-FM 94.7 a.k.a. Kixx-FM. But off the air after 0300 as I have also noticed previous nights, so `Late Nite in the Heartland` far-right talk show is gone tho still on the 6160 sked as 0300-0500 Tue-Sat. Its website still claims to be on 7490 https://www.jeffreydaugherty.com/about-us but that`s off the air too at 0340 April 3 check. O, the 7490 sked shows it as 0300-0330 only UT Tue-Sat; so need to recheck whether that fragment survive. At 02-03 Brother Scare has been appearing on 7490 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
** U S A. 1319.717, April 3 at 0145 UT, KLWN ID on 1320.00 with het from here by the AM/SSB pitch match method, so still WCOG Greensboro NC. No het tonight vs 1540.00 KXEL (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
UNIDENTIFIED. 1081.3, April 3 at 0151 UT, het against 1080 KRLD. Nothing this far off in mwoffsets; possibly local device, but the MW band is otherwise `clean` tonight, no TA carriers either (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
