** BIAFRA [non]. 11530, Dec 20 at 1905, while checking all WRMI frequencies for Brother Scare, surprised to find this one back on, at least today, with R. Biafra, which had been missing for quite a while and presumed cancelled at this time unlike at 0500. Woman in Igbo mentions ``places to vote`` --- is there another elexion pending in Biafraland, or old program? Then usual request in English for reports on ``these numbers`` meaning strange strings denoting shortwave frequencies. VG signal now.
Concludes at 1929 but 11530 stays on air with hilife music, cuts off at 1934:17 but back on in less than a minute, more music (only?), so maybe fill coming from WRMI itself. This lasts until 1959 and WRMI Zanotti ID which is cut off slightly before finished at 2000*.
The latest Biafra file (under another name) on the WRMI server is dated Dec 16 (while R. Herwa is Dec 19). This hour continues to be blank on the WRMI frequency grid, http://www.tinyurl.com/WRMIfqs --- Not shown on either transmitter carrying 11530 at other times, #3 or #10, nor any of the other dozen.

** COLOMBIA. 6043 approx., Dec 20 at 0128, FMy blob at S7-S8, much weaker than last night when IDed as LV de tu Conciencia. Again there is but a JBA carrier on 6010.0. Maybe that`s what`s left of HJDH on its proper frequency; or Brasil, but both were usually slightly off-frequency. No major broadcasters are scheduled at this hour on 6010, per NDXC/Aoki, which would you believe it, still also lists Radio Mil in México, despite gone for many years. I expect schedule aggregators which pull in, er copy, Aoki info re-propagate this misinfo, leading the unwary to misIDs (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

11760, Dec 20 at 1424, like yesterday at 1410, RHC distorted and splattering out about 20 kHz, now a little less than 25 kHz then.

At least three of the arrest warrants served on Monday also state Stair sexually assaulted other victims inside his radio room.``

WORLD OF RADIO 1909 monitoring: NO signal UT Wednesday December 20 at 0030 on WBCQ 9330v-CUSB (closest other US SW station, 9265 WINB is now a JBA carrier; even 9370 WWRB is VP, but 9395 WRMI is good. So this may be due to or exacerbated by poor propagation; however, stations need to compensate for that by using lower bands in winter nights. All the 9330 programming could be moved with little disruption to 5130v which is mostly off the air weeknights; if not 3265 which must be kept in reserve for a major client?)

** U S A. 9955, Wed Dec 20 at 1445, latest `Viva Miami`, still lacking the ``Miami Vice`` theme, just Jeff acknowledging reception reports, mostly only with name, location, frequency, but occasional additional comments in English or sometimes Spanish. Finished by 1456, back to fill music. He mentioned that 9455 is beamed to the southwest from Okeechobee, but it`s listed as 285 degrees which is closer to WNW.
9955, Dec 20 at 1543 and still at 1522, I notice that this WRMI frequency is now off when it normally carries Brother Scare, and so is another BS frequency, 11825; hmmm, could this be coincidence, following The Overgroper`s latest arrest on multiple charges? Other WRMIs are still running, 7780, 9395, 9455, 21525, so no power problem.

But shortly I hear the same thing delayed about 11 seconds (why?) asynchronously behind 12105 on 9930, and it is Ted`s voice with his ham radio commercials. On to a version of ``Carol of the Bells``. Furthermore, 9475 WTWW-1 is on with SFAW, so at last we have confirmation that all three transmitters are funxioning, two-thirds of them with the Xmasmx all-the-time (except for all the commercials)(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

I have been filing my recent logs of JBA carriers from Pacific MW stations under their countries, since there is very little doubt about their source, and very unlikely I will ever get any audio. UNIDENTIFIED. 4100.124-CW, Dec 20 at 0143, ``ZN``, the Zebra beacon, sending nothing but ID about 14 x per minute, barely audible. Last time I heard November 1, it was on about 4066, and back in February on 4070. I frequently scan this region but rarely hear any of these (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
UNIDENTIFIED. 11560-11570, peaking 11565, Dec 20 at 1421, some kind of loud noise jamming, unseems DRM, containing a slightly shifting tone. Guess what: Nothing is scheduled anywhen, anywhere on 11565 per current EiBi, Aoki/NDXC and HFCC. However, there is VOA Korean on 11570 via Saipan (and before 1400 from 1200, Philippines).
The last item found in our archive about 11565-CUSB, was August 30, 2017 at 0830-0834, from Ivo Ivanov, a Russian numbers station, S06s. He reports a lot of these, many inside SWBC bands (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
