The (Dixie) Chicks
Like them or not, The (Dixie) Chicks are one of the most recognizable acts in country music.
The group’s 2006 release of Not Ready to Make Nice responded to their 2003 blacklisting for comments about Iraq's invasion and former President George W. Bush. The song, which itself was criticized in some circles, put them back in the music mainstream.
The program includes these live performances:
Bluegrass (Instrumental)
Cold Day in July
Cowboy Take Me Away
Gaslighter
Goodbye Earl
If I Fall You're Going Down with Me
Let 'Er Rip
Not Ready to Make Nice
Ready to Run
Sin Wagon
Some Days You Gotta Dance
Strong Enough
White Trash Wedding
You Were Mine.
The program’s repeated on Sunday, May 8, at this same time and frequency

TRSW has an eQSL for each of the programs. Verifications are available for a reception report on at least 20 minutes of a program, emailed to texasradiosw@gmail.com.
