BBC WS output continues with many news programmes each day. Usually, there is a six-minute news bulletin on the hour regardless of target area. Additionally, the following programmes all provide extended news coverage: Newshour, Newsday, Newsroom, BBC OS and Weekend programmes, along with the Focus on Africa programmes. These are all broadcast at various times on shortwave, and with the BBC’s complex schedule I have found it quite difficult to keep track of when and where to hear to them.
