week's programme starts with some Mozart - the first movement of the
Jupiter symphony - then a concerto for two pianos by Dessner. A concerto Grosso
by Corelli next - trumpet played by Alison Balsom. Then some Robert Carver - the
Scottish Tallis, and to finish the hour - Elgar's Introduction and Allegro for
strings and something from Handel - with a jaunty little bit of 1960's playtime
to fill the last few seconds.
