0300 UTC Friday, September 15 - I went with our Facility Manager, Pat Travers, on a drive through our antenna field today. It was rough driving through the swampy, wet, muddy terrain which reminded me of the safari game drives I took in South Africa a couple of weeks ago. I saw why it is so difficult to repair the damage from Hurricane Irma in the field. There are transmission lines down all over the place, and many of the poles that hold them up need to be repaired or replaced. It is a big project, and our engineers are working on it one by one. We got one more transmitter on the air today (Transmitter 7, 21525 kHz), and we hope to get a few more on the air tomorrow. Our telephone and Internet service is still down. --Jeff White, General Manager

Looks like a lot of repairs need to be done, so I do not expect all frequencies for quite some time. Internet is back, however, allowing WOR 1895 to be uploaded, but still won`t be heard unless the 11580 service be resumed by Saturday evening at 2300, UT Sunday 0200.
9955, Sept 15 at 1242, WRMI is back on air after another power outage, with Radio Eslovaquia Internacional, S9+10 and no jamming, // 9455 S9+10 too; during mailbag with rather formal acknowledgments of reports from Cuba, Argentina.
9395, Sept 15 at 1248, WRMI with `The Power [sic] Hour` resumed, S9-S6, allegedly still on 100-watt exciter, generator-powered only. Runs about a semiminute behind much stronger // 7490 WWCR, but that lasts only until 1300. Substitute hostess calls herself Sam.
9955, Fri Sept 15 at 1345, I`m standing by to hear whether WRMI is still running the 21525 aircheck from Nigeria, or a new Viva Miami? Yes, Jeff says recorded Monday Sept 11 at 2300, so it`s already outdated, but glean these details: generator is 25 kW, not enough for air conditioning and it`s quite hot, but runs office and studio and one low-power transmitter. Max winds doing all the damage to antennas and feedlines were 71 mph, at 9:30 pm Sunday, when Irma came closest, 50 miles to the west. Total rainfall was 17 inches. The dike held at Lake Okeechobee, tho evacuations were being prepared for. Currently a curfew 9 pm to 9 am. Some stores were still/already open, including Walmart, maybe with gas, but shortage elsewhere. 19 out of 20,000 FPL customers in Okeechobee were out of power. At the time of recording, Jeff expected this to be heard only on the live stream (but it went and came again later).
