** BRAZIL. 11710, 11745, 11815, June 14 at 0549, crackling spurs from 11780.1v
RNA/RNB are still here and usually audible at night on 11745 and 11815 at least;
depending on the strength of fundamental, which is insufficient in the daytime
to co-propagate them (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** CHINA
[and non]. 17625, June 14 at 0545, CNR1 jammer, poor with flutter, mixing with
other Chinese, i.e. RFA via SAIPAN scheduled daily until 0600; much like the
situation on 21690. Meanwhile, CNR2 via Beijing site 491 is also scheduled per
Aoki on 17625, but gets lost in this mess if on at all (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)
** MEXICO. 940.0, June 14 at 0601, XEQ, partially
copied full ID as ``--- --- AM ... 50 mil watts ... estado de Mexico``, i.e. new
identity as `Ke Buena 940 AM` a slogan sorely lacking in originality used all
over the United States of Mexico and America; heavy QRM but no het with XEQ on
frequency tonight (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** NIGERIA.
9690- fair June 13 at 0558, // weaker 7255, VON drumming before presumed Hausa
service, irregular but sometimes runs a full hour rather than a semihour, per
Thorsten Hallmann. 9690 is really the third SSOB topped only by the WRMIs on
9955 & 9395; not much else (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
**
OKLAHOMA [and non]. 1000, June 14 at 0309 UT near Kingfisher OK on caradio, I am
not getting KTOK, but a Dodgers/Padres game, which would be on ESPN, such as
WMVP Chicago. KTOK must be off the air; 930 WKY still local quality groundwave
signal. After 05 UT from Enid, usual signal from KTOK with talk, not sports
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. 1050, June 14 at 0604
UT, ads including one for custom shirts, 0605 non-ID sounds like `Red Eye 1050`,
and into `Red Eye Radio`. Loops east-west, holding own at first against XEG
Monterrey, then still audible with XEG nulled as much as possible, somewhat
clockwise from there. Only 1050 on the RER affiliate roster is KTBL Albuquerque
NM, and own website http://www.1050talk.com/ confirms it`s
scheduled, despite also being on parent station 770 KKOB; why? Why not? In OKC
it`s on both 1640 and 1520. KTBL is 1/1 kW U3, day and night pattern being
circular tangent favoring NNE, maybe filling in a bit of a coverage gap between
KKOB on night pattern and KKOB co-channel filler in Santa Fe (Glenn Hauser, OK,
