GULF OF MEXICO, October 19, 2020 - Texas Radio Shortwave, an American free radio station, today announces an October 25 music program on WBCQ, Monticello, Maine USA.
Texas Radio Shortwave will broadcast a musical tribute to Texas artist Doug Sahm on Sunday, October 25, 2020. The program will air at 0200 UTC (still Saturday in North America) on 6160 kHz. The program also will be streamed at HTTP://169.61.85.22/area51
Texas Radio Shortwave will send a limited-edition electronic verification to listeners submitting correct, detailed reception reports for the broadcast. The email address is texasradiosw@gmail.com.
All reports should include times, song titles, and the text of announcements -- and, if heard on a shortwave receiver a SINPO/SIO signal rating and information on the listener’s receiver and antenna – along with comments on the program. Listeners should mention if they use a remote software-defined radio (SDR) and the receiver’s location or if they listened on the Internet. Audio clips of reception on 6160kHz are welcomed.
