** ANGUILLA. 11775, July 15 at 1242 no signal from CB/TUN/PMS/DGS even tho it`s Sunday morning --- but it is on by 1303, now // 13845 WWCR. Standard behavior has been to continue thru Sunday night/Monday morning on 6090, Monday day on 11775, after 2200 on 6090, but then gone again until next Sunday morning. Rick Barton, AZ, heard it turn off abruptly at 0305* UT Tuesday June 26. The transmitter is obviously working fine, but they no longer choose to run it 24/7 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** CHINA [and non]. 11985, July 15 at 1244, Firedragon music jamming mixing with Chinese talk, i.e. RTI as scheduled this hour only. See also TAIWAN [and non] (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** CUBA. 6060, July 14 at 0530, this RHC English frequency is off; 6000 undermodulated; 6100 good; 6165 best modulation and signal, slightly better than the fifth of The Cuban Five, 5040. At 0553 I rate 6000 as JBM = just barely modulated. The relative quality of these, and which may be missing, vary greatly from one night to the next. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** MADAGASCAR. 17640, July 15 at 1806, MWV is back with good signal during English hour of African Pathways Radio, previews, first to ``Path to a happy home`` about family relations, domestic support should be reciprocal (duh!). Quite a while since this has been easily heard from the other worldside (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** NORTH AMERICA. 6880-AM, July 15 at 0024, rock music, S5 vs static crashes to S9, the OSOB with none in the 6.9s. Still going past 0046.
Many logs here say it`s a relay of X-FM, originally unID, between 2305 July 14 and 0133 July 15:

** NORTH AMERICA. 6925-USB, July 15 at 0127, S9+20 rap with swearing, then a novelty comedy song. Suspected Clever Name Radio, and so it is:

between *0058 and 0142* (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** SRI LANKA. 11904.89, July 15 at *0029:36, JBA carrier on from SLBC, S0.5-S1, surprisingly off-frequency. 0030:28 imagination-level timesignal? Cuts off and on air, again from *0031:11 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** TAIWAN. 11440- & 11500-, July 14 at 1240, VP carriers, slightly on low side, maybe some Chinese. Hallmarx of Sound of Hope, and matching nicely with Aoki/NDXC showing them on 11439.956 and 11499.933. And evidently without jamming.
[non] 15740, July 15 at 0047, S1 JBA talk, in Chinese? Except for CRI/Cuba 15120, it`s the OSOB. Aoki shows only Sound of Hope on 15740.232, but *jammed and I am probably hearing the latter, CNR1, since the signal was not noticeably off-frequency. ** U K. 7345, July 14 at 0458, Bow Bells from BBCWS, 0500 news. I thought this would be Ascension, but that`s not until 0600. The 05-06 hour is 170 degrees from Woofferton. Much weaker than, and with some splat de, neighbor 7335 Martí.
I`ve fired up my Grundig Mini World PE pocket radio! I`m afraid it had been disused for several years, a decade? once I had direct-entry digital portables. It`s a neat little radio, 4 x 3 by less than 1 inch. Seems heavier than expected. In a tight pouch where the dust accumulated, keeping the radio pristine. To my surprise it came right on, the 2xAA batteries still good, and not leaking, maybe originals? Maxell Alkaline Ace, ``no mercury/cadmium added``, dated 12-2004!
I`m impressed with its sensitivity, if not the selectivity, using only the telescopic rod antenna which extends to only 14.5 inches. Reception depends a lot on its orientation, whether it`s being touched, or near metal objects. Tried clipping on the inside longwire, but not surprisingly causing overload.
Tiny analog ``slide-rule`` dial is backwards, the highest frequencies of each band on the left. Tuning wheel is hard to move and land on exactly the center frequency. Also exhibits some drift? Besides FM and AM, six SW bands: 49, 41, 31, 25, 19 and 16m, mostly with a good overrun around the edges, but not quite enough now --- barely reaches WRNO but not WOOB WRMIs.
Tiny speaker sounds tinny, better with hi-fi stereo headphones plugged in, not mere buds. Does receive stereo on FM only, visually indicated by a red light. Has a plastic belt clip, I would be very careful not to break, and the non-swiveling antenna is a drawback. Better put it in a breast pocket instead. (This is the only log reported on this receiver.) ** U S A. 14179-USB, July 14 at 1253, NU1AW/portable 9 ``IARU HQ Station``, making quick contacts, mostly 5&9, as if in a contest, such as with N3XZ, YV4MT. Evidently simplex but all others are much weaker or inaudible. How can it be at IARU HQ with such a call? ARRL shows NU1AW is axually club at ARRL itself, Newington CT, David Sumner. Is it he? Now somewhere in the /9 call area (IL/IN/WI), never specified, nor does he even mention his own call with every contact (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1938 monitoring: confirmed Saturday July 14 at 1431 on Hamburger Lokalradio, 6190-CUSB, mostly sufficient to 1500* via UTwente SDR. NOT confirmed Saturday July 14 at 2300 on WRMI 7780, instead Blalock the Blaster! Skedgrid now shows `Full Gospel Hour[sic]` daily at 2300-2330.. NOT confirmed UT Sunday July 15 at 0200 on WRMI 7780 either, instead Radio Prague in English (in addition to 0300 on 9395).
Confirmed UT Sunday July 15 at 0345 on WA0RCR, 1860-AM, Missouri, about 9 minutes in, so started late circa 0336; fair vs storm crashes.
Ivo Ivanov, Bulgaria, confirms this one:

** U S A. 15809.953v, as of early July 15, WTWW-3 transmitter not heard lately at random day and night chex. In fact last time logged for sure was July 1, tho there was a JBA carrier July 7. Definitely off Saturday July 14 at 1950, while 9475 has defaulted to ham show. Also off UT Sunday July 15 at 0026 check (when 5830 is already on instead of 9475), and still off after 0100 when 5085 has come up.
Until --- final check at 1803 UT July 15, now 15810- is back on with PPPP // 9475 SFAW about his reluctance to be interviewed by the WSJ,
5085, UT Sunday July 15 at 0101, WTWW-2 has just come on the air, with classic country, then a long string of rambling ham commercials by Ted, ending with Heil Sound, to intro `Theater Organ in the Ozarx` which does not really start until 0111! Bob is airing 40-50-year-old recordings originally on 4-track tape, when he was playing a modified Hammond organ in a restaurant. NO signal on 15810v to // it any more (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. 10100, July 15 at 0027, WWRB is JBA but enough to match this second harmonic to VG S9+25 fundamental 5050 with weekend-only over-wrought gospel huxters (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
