** CHINA. 18990, Sept 17 at 1317, CNR1 jammer, fair with flutter; none in the 19s, 17s, 16s. It`s the Wed & Sat 13-14 frequency of RFA Tibetan via Kuwait.
15545, Sept 17 at 1323, CNR1 jammer, very poor with het on lo side, but // 18990. According to Aoki, V. of Tibet via Tajikistan should be on the hi side, 15547 until 1340 when it switches to 15542; but these things are always changing. None in the 14s or 12s, and just the usual inbanders elsewhere in the 15s, 13s and 11s (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST) See also VIETNAM [and non]
** U S A. 13564-CW, Sept 17 at 1327, GNK Hifer beacon is the only one audible, just barely, from Madison WI, vs CODAR (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1738 monitoring: confirmed on WRMI 9955, Wednesday Sept 17 at 1315, fair and clear of CCI but squeezed between some ACIs requiring careful tuning or narrowed bandwidth.
Also confirmed on WBCQ 7490 webcast, Wednesday Sept 17 at 2100.

** VIETNAM [and non]. 9635.93, Sept 17 at 1256, big het between open carrier on 9635.0 and something on the hi side with unreadable modulation, matcing very close to Ab5 pitch on my keyboard, i.e. 932 Hz.
9635.0 soon turns out to be CRI, opening in Hindi at 1300, ``Yi, China Radio International``, via Kashgar, EAST TURKISTAN, very likely to be on-frequency. And the off-frequency one is V. of Vietnam, as often reported, e.g. 9635.8 by Carlos Gonçalves, Portugal, Sept 14 at 0859-1135 fadeout.
Commies vs Commies! As in Aoki, it`s the Son Tay site, 100 kW, 145 degrees all-day and evening with home service first program. Neither Aoki nor WRTH bothers to note it`s always way off-frequency like some other transmitters at this site near Hanoi --- their most distinctive signatures! EiBi does: 9635.7 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
UNIDENTIFIED. 13555.5-SSB, Sept 17 at 1328, Spanish 2-way, very poor, as I am still looking for recapture of the American English `A1A` station which was on 13555-USB (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
UNIDENTIFIED. 13590, Sept 17 at 0536, good signal not usually here at this time, as strong as Australia 13630, but long fades; a tune is playing on a keyboard, and I soon realize it`s a loop. Several variations but repeats every 1:49 as obvious from a glitch/edit which keeps recurring at that interval. Anyone recognize it? Here`s a clip lasting 3:41 starting at 0545:http://www.w4uvh.net/13590unidloop.mp3
I stop listening briefly to check the recording, and at 0550 I find the signal is suddenly off.
Nothing is listed at this time, but Iran`s Russian service is scheduled here at 0450-0520, 500 kW, 335 degrees from Kamalabad, so also USward, and heard before. Iran is also the *only* country in HFCC ending any broadcast at 0550, i.e. Turkish from same site supposed to be on 13710 and 11925. I don`t recall noticing it on 13710, but wasn`t looking for it at the time. So my theory is: another SNAFU at K`bad, leaving transmitter on another half hour and plugged into circuit fill music. Any other ideas? We shall hear if it rehappen and compare it to the Turkish channels (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1739, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
