Solar & Geomagnetic activity
forecast
for the period September 14 to October 10, 2015
Solar
activity will continue to fluctuate at solar
flux 85 - 120 s.f.u. during
next few weeks. Irregular
occurence of C class flares is expected. Only very
exceptionally are possible M class flares, while X
class flares are not
expected at all.
Geomagnetic field will be:
quiet on September 17,
21, 27 - 28
mostly quiet on September 18, 20, 26, 29, October 10
quiet to
unsettled on September 14, 19, 25, October 2, 7
quiet to active on September
16, 23 - 24, 30, October 1, 3 - 4, 6, 9
active to disturbed on September 15,
22, October 5, 8
Amplifications of the solar wind are expected on
September (17 - 18,)
19 - 21, (25 - 28) and October 3 - 5, 8 -
9.
Remarks:
- Reliability of predictions remains reduced in pesent
solar cycle phase.
- Parenthesis means lower probability of activity
enhancement.
