Controversy continues about the IRRS site on 7290. Someone should perform multi-receiver TDOA on this and settle it once and for all. Those in a better position to know are sure it is neither Bulgaria nor Romania. Alexander Busneag, Germany says to the WOR iog:
``So in conclusion, there are many reasons why IRRS 7290 kHz cannot be via Romania, and Mauno now also got a confirmation from RADIOCOM that this transmission is not from them. While it is clear that 9510 kHz EVIDENTLY is via Romania, there is absolutely not the slightest hint that IRRS 7290 kHz would come from Romania! ;-) As Ivo states that IRRS 7290 kHz is not via Bulgaria either, I would suggest to mark the TX location as "unknown":
