Another UK medium wave station has closed. Ofcom's Radio Update Bulletin for February, published today, lists under Services which have ceased to be licensed (handed back or revoked):
Betar Bangla (East London) on 1503 kHz - licence surrendered.
This station has already been off the air for several months.
(The Bow transmitter site was shared with Premier Christian Radio on 1332 kHz, which has also been off the air since July 2019. However Premier’s licence is still in place, even though it’s currently inactive on 1332 kHz due to problems with the Bow site).
