# SIDC Weekly bulletin on Solar and Geomagnetic activity #
#--------------------------------------------------------------------#
WEEK 539 from 2011 Apr 25
SOLAR ACTIVITY
--------------
Solar activity was low during the whole week. Even though there were
always more than five ARs present on the visible Sun, only C-flares
were observed due to the lack of complexity in the active regions.
The largest flare was a C3.8 from NOAA AR 1203, peaking at 00:26 UT
on April 29. No Earth directed CMEs were seen.
GEOMAGNETIC ACTIVITY
--------------------
Geomagnetic activity was quiet during most of the week. On April 29
a fast wind stream from a coronal hole arrived to the Earth and
produced extended periods of active conditions plus a minor
geomagnetic storm on April 30.
