** TURKEY. 5960, Nov 24 at 2309, VOT English is on but with a new problem: annoying squeal of variable pitch, like 2-3 kHz on both sides of carrier so transmitted that way; S9 signal into Maryland SDR, and same squeal into UTwente. ** U S A. 3265, Nov 24 at 2324 check, no signal from this WBCQ into Maryland SDR; altho Wolfgang Bueschel reported it among Koreans on 90m via remote in Japan, today at 1352 on 3264.706V. It had not been reported at any hour for several weeks, not even during `AAAWWW` when sometimes ``quadri-casting``; last time I heard it that hour was August 27. So maybe it`s coming back, supposedly available 24h, mostly for TOMBS. Propagation 101 would suggest it`s most useful during winter nights, when even 7490v may not propagate (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
