** CUBA. 15369.233V, Feb 12 at 2139, RHC way off-frequency for second day, S9/+10 in Brazuguese, and // abnormally weak 11880.0 S7. 15140.0 is still on but dead air, after all-day distortion. Usually all three are in Portuguese at 2100-2130 rather than 3 different languages. At 2130 supposedly scheduled are Arabic on 15370, Portuguese on 11880. ** EL SALVADOR. 18120.06-USB, Feb 12 at 1919, one signal making it on ``17m`` phone: mostly repeating only callsign over and over fonetikally, occasionally inserting CQ or QRZ. Accent makes it hard to read, plus mixture of official ICAO and unofficial fonetix: at first I thought he was saying ``Ocean United one ---`` something; then pretty sure the suffix ``Delta Lima`` --- but then the first letter more like ``Hotel``. Only a few minutes later does he get a real contact. Yup, QRZ.com lookup goes nowhere to OU1DL which might be in Belgium, but hits upon HU1DL as:
