WORLD OF RADIO HITLIST by ALAN ROE, also updated late August:
http://www.w4uvh.net/hitlit.htm

** COLOMBIA. 5910 approx., Sept 5 at 0114, Alcaraván Radio is on with music, S8, not enough to overcome storm noise level. Het on 6010v presumably between the other HJDH and Inconfidência (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** MEXICO. 720, Sept 5 at 1202 UT, Chihuahua state song, 1204 inspirational recitation about amor and ``un nuevo día``. It`s surely XEJCC in Ciudad Juárez, listed by IRCA a 25 kW daytimer; WRTH 2016 says only 1 kW. A canned ID appears at 1205, but fading and I can`t copy to confirm what slogan they are currently using; 1206, 6:06 timecheck (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** NEW ZEALAND. 15720, Sept 5 at 0138, no signal from usually reliable RNZI, while RA is audible on 17840, 15240, even a JBA carrier on 15415 at 0202 when 15720 is still off. But at 0548, RNZI is back on with bigsig of S9+20 on next frequency 11725, in fact the SSOB surpassing Brasil 11780 at only S9+10. Or has 15720 suddenly changed on no/short notice? No, still on sked at

(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SIKKIM. 4835, Sept 5 at 1214, JBA carrier, presumed AIR Gangtok, and today Monday, WWCR is already off 4840, unlike Sunday which must have been an anomaly. Ron Howard reports that Sikkim carrier, stronger for him, has been lacking modulation and that ABC NT VL8A was still silent as of yesterday. Are there any other 4835 broadcasters? Only Radio Marañón, Perú, which would not be propagating now even if it still exist (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** SRI LANKA. 11905, Sept 5 until 0115:17, JBA mis-timesignal from SLBC signing on, pretending that it points to 0115:00; lately clocked at 0115:10; seems to alternate between the two mistimes (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1841 monitoring: confirmed Sunday Sept 4 at 2330 on WBCQ, 9330.036v-CUSB, good. Also confirmed UT Monday Sept 5 at 0030 on WRMI, 7730, S9+20/30. Also confirmed UT Monday Sept 5 at 0301 on Area 51 webcast, and at 0329 check on WBCQ 5129.858-AM, S9. Also confirmed UT Monday Sept 5 at 0330 on WRMI 9955, very poor but definitely on webcast. Next:
Mon 2330   WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
Tue 1100   WRMI 9955 to SSE
Tue 2130   WRMI 15770 to NE [we hope resumed after 3 weeks]
Tue 2330   WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
Wed 1315.5 WRMI 9955 to SSE
Wed 2100   WBCQ 7490v to WSW
Wed 2330   WBCQ 9330v-CUSB to WSW
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9330v-CUSB, Sept 5 at 0122, WBCQ is on again with an `Allan Weiner Worldwide` replay, this one from recently as heard before talking about his tractor, a 60-year-old Bush Hog, to mow around the property being too dangerous for Pam or anyone but Allan to drive. Still going past 0201+ as original shows are never only 60 minutes. Seems to be running AWWW just about every night on 9330 from 0100, once Blalock the Blaster is over, but of course, ad-hoc, not on the websked. 9330 is otherwise occupied after 0100 only on UT Tuesdays & Sundays (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9505, Sun Sept 4 at 2231, bigsig S9+20 with non-BS gospel huxter, must be brand new. Formerly a WHRI frequency and probably so again. Yes, HFCC shows 22-24 UT, 250 kW, 47 degrees starting Sept 4 in English.

Ivo Ivanov parses it out this way, needlessly complicated, involving two transmitters depending on which day of week and which hour, showing ex-frequencies, all 250 kW, 47 deg to WEu in English:

``WHRI Angel 1
2200-2300 NF  9505 Mon-Fri Brother Stair, ex 11750
2200-2300 NF  9505 Sat/Sun, ex 11750
2300-2400 NF  9505 Sat, ex 11750

WHRI Angel 2
2000-2200 NF 11750 Sun, ex 15530
2300-2400 NF  9505 Mon-Fri Brother Stair, ex 11750
2300-2400 NF  9505 Sun, ex 11750``
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 9475-, Sept 5, 2016 at 0121, PPPP on SFAW via WTWW-1 denouncing Pres. Bill Clinton, obviously a very old recording from when he was in office and/or re/running. But what else can you do today when you`re dead? (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 7505.18, Sept 5 at 0126, WRNO is on again and drifting slowly upward as I try and retry to measure it, but pinned here at one instant (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 1170, Sept 5 at 0147 UT, gospel huxter under/mixing with KFAQ Tulsa, same situation as last time when I traced it to WWVA but without an ID heard. KFAQ talk is about fishing in national parks and marine reserve areas next to them, some of the best locations.

At 0158 UT the understation is wrapping program with address P O Box 511, Lynchburg OH 45142. KFAQ seems to be in a fade helping to audiblize the other: and at 0201 UT, definite ID as ``NewsRadio 11-70, WWVA Wheeling``.

So for the duration, here`s a chance for westerners to log WWVA, altho it`s really from Ohio, not West Virginia. It must be on 50 kW ND if it can penetrate KFAQ even west of Tulsa (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** VIETNAM [non]. 7315, Sept 5 at 0129 check, WHRI ID with address in Cyprus (as distinct from Cypress), and WorldVision hunger PSA, long pause at 0130:15, VOV in Spanish relay starts up. WV ads/plugs occur at almost every break on WHRI. Before sending $$$, have a look at:

UNIDENTIFIED. 930, Monday Sept 5 at 1155 UT, a few minutes pre-sunrise here, WKY OKC is in open carrier/dead air, because of holiday? And nulling it, I`m getting something else in Spanish making a SAH of ~6 Hz, give or take. As researched last Nov/Dec, there are only two N/W Mexicans on 930, Saltillo and Fresnillo, and there is only one US SS anywhere in the west, KAPR Douglas AZ (now that KHJ LA has got religion), tho we`re unsure exactly what format. This one is musical at first, then economic? talk mentioning both pesos and dólares. But at 1200 UT sharp before there is any ID, WKY revives with its own music as if it were programmed to do so. KAPR is also better positioned to get past WKY, closer to a right angle than the XEs which are also more into sunrise now (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1480.82, Sept 5 at 0141 UT, het against 1480 stations, seems to loop ESE/WNW. Reminds me of the 1499.17 het against 1500 I have been hearing (820-830 Hz away), and would be close to a match for spurs each side out of 1490 rather than somethings off-frequency from 1480 or 1500. However, I`m sure I would have noticed the 1480+ one before when I was getting the 1500- one. But now I am not hearing the 1500- one; until 0156 UT when I can make it out weaker, and on the same bearing (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)
