WRN Europe satellite change

** INTERNATIONAL VACUUM. WRN Broadcast Maintenance Notification - (ref 173) Sky transponder migration 2014

Dear All, I'm writing to you inform you that on 14th April there will be a change of transponder and frequency for WRN English for Europe, which is currently on the Astra 2F satellite.

This channel will now be moving back to Eutelsat 28A and consequently, the service will have a different frequency for reception on non-Sky receivers (where tuning is carried out manually by frequency).

For Sky receivers the service will continue to appear on the same channel number and no action is required by the audience.

For homes that use a generic receiver (largely those located outside of the UK and Ireland), it will be necessary to re-tune from the existing frequency to the following:

Eutelsat 28A
D/L frequency: 11680.77 MHz
D/L polarity: Vertical
Symbol rate: 27.5 MSymb/sec
FEC: 2/3
DVBS

We will be dual illuminating the service until 22nd April to allow listeners time to gradually migrate across to the new frequency, and Sky will make the switch on this date.

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions,

Many Thanks, Kosh (Kosh Hussain, Client Services Executive,
